Today marks the opening day of  Lehigh Valley Beer Week , the height of beer experience within the Lehigh Valley.  Typically enjoyed during February, this year due the effects of COVID it was moved to May, which in our mind is a great move. Take a look at this! Retriever Brewing Co , which opened last year as a direct-to-consumer offering for the masses, is slating an opening in the coming months at a huge 10 thousand square foot "compound", as they are calling. Included in that space is a beer hall and pub, and an additional 5 thousand square foot brew pub will also be on premises. Did we also mention that there is a pool deck? No word yet on exact date, but when reaching out to the owners for comment, but fittingly it will "welcome all well-behaved dogs to our outdoor seating areas and will permit service animals inside of our buildings as required by law." And the winner of The Best Breweries of the LV 2021 is.... *drumroll*  Lost Tavern Brewing!!   Congrats to Lost Tavern on winning their third consecutive best brewery award, as voted on by you, by escaping McCall Collective Brewing Co.  by a 57% to 43% margin, by far our closest to date! Congrats to McCall for the meteoric rise this past year, and I am sure we'll see you vying for the top spot for years to come.  Also, congrats are in order to Bonn Place Brewing Co. with their victory over Hop Hill Brewing , but overall an awesome top 4!  And also thanks to all other breweries that were in this year, hopefully everybody gets to spend some times ponying up to your bars. Next year we expect a few more breweries to be joining us, so expect even more deep competitions. Until then, thanks everybody for voting and helping to make the Lehigh Valley one of the best beer scenes in the US!!

It's that time! Join us in voting for the BEST BREWERY IN THE LEHIGH VALLEY! Prelims start March 18th, and continue until April 4th. Will Lost Tavern three-peat, or will there be a new king (or queen) crowned? We'll see, and please vote below!
